Safety Pledges

Somerset CCG's Five Safety Pledges

We have pledged:

To put safety first

We are committed to reducing avoidable harm in the NHS and to make public the goals and plans developed locally to achieve this.

Continually to learn

We want to make Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre more resilient to risk by acting on feedback from patients and constantly measuring and monitoring how safe our services are.

To be Honest

We want to be transparent with people about progress in tackling patient safety issues and support staff to be candid with patients and their families if something goes wrong.

To Collaborate

We will take a leading role in supporting local collaborative learning so that improvements are made across all local patient services.

To Support

We will help people to understand why things go wrong and how to put them right.  We will five staff the time and support to improve and celebrate the progress.
