There are many resources to help you understand and manage chronic pain.
We will help you to manage your pain but we recongnise that when pain becomes chronic that certain medications are no longer appropriate. Pain medications can be addictive and ineffective. There may be more harm than good from prescribing them. We work with Somerset Community pain team to help you take control of your pain.
Somerset community pain service aims to support you and work with you to find ways to improve your quality of life and in spite of your persistent pain, to live as independent a life as you would wish.
